We are looking for the most innovative tech project in Belgium


The everis foundation is looking for the best Belgian high impact tech innovation project to take part on the Global everis Awards, opting for an award of up to €70,000.

The everis foundation has opened the call for projects for the everis Awards Belgiumfor high impact tech innovation proposals that generate a positive change in society. The Belgian winner will receive €10,000 and a pass to the international final of the Global everis Awards, opting for an additional award of €60,000.

Thus, they are looking for projects developed by Belgian companies, and they can register online until April 30th, 2019 in in the category of New business models in the Digital Economy. 

Evaluation of projects

Once the call for projects is closed and each project has been received, the preliminary analysis stage will take place, resulting in a selection of 8 projects. This shortlist of projects will receive a mentoring session to prepare them for the next stage, where they will pitch their projects to a Jury of experts formed by distinguished representatives of the entrepreneurial, academic and business fields as well as representatives of the everis Group.

From this assessment, the Jury will select the 3 finalists that will attend the everis Awards Belgium celebration where the final winner will be announced, opting to a financial contribution of €10,000 and a pass to the international final of the Global everis Awards.

Global everis Awards - XVIII edition

The winner of the everis Awards Belgium will compete for an additional award of €60,000 in the international final of the Global everis Awards that will take place in Madrid, Spain. In this final, the Belgian winner will compete against the local winners of the other 9 participating countries, coming from Latin America and Europe. 

In addition, if deemed appropriate by the Jury, the winner will receive a free support service package from i-deals, a company from the everis Group specialized in technological entrepreneurship.

The Global everis Awards event will take place during the everis-talent-week,days dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship through various activities such as seminars, workshops, conferences, roundtables on issues related to innovation and entrepreneurship, among others. All 10 local winners will attend these activities as part of the program.

Participation in the Open Innovation Contest from NTT Data

Additionally, the everis foundation offers semifinalists the possibility to participate in the Open Innovation Contest in Tokyo, an initiative of NTT DATA, Japanese subsidiary to which everis belongs.
